Governmental ADA Coordinators in California

Local and state governments are required under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to provide communication access to their programs and services for people with hearing loss. Access is provided via auxiliary aids and services. They are also required to have an ADA Coordinator. People with hearing loss have had difficulty finding the contact person to request mandated communication access to participate in the programs and services of local and state governments.

The Hearing Loss Association of America Diablo Valley Chapter (HLAA DV) initiated an ADA Coordinator Contact List project to help people find the appropriate ADA contact person to request much need hearing assistance.

You can send an email, auto-dial the primary phone number, and access the ADA webpage when available.

This is a living document, and if you would like to contribute to the project, use the contact button at the bottom of the page.

You can download a CSV file of this table by using the purple CVS button on the lower right corner. Please be aware that some information may not appear in a readable format. This includes the Auto Dial and Email data columns because they have special functions within the table. The information is there along with other markups.

ADA Title II applies to State and local government entities, and, in subtitle A, protects qualified individuals with disabilities from discrimination on the basis of disability in services, programs, and activities provided by State and local governments.
